My name is Louise Lawson and I teach early years children with Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND)
The Treasure Box is dedicated to meeting the care, learning, development and play needs of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in the Hickling and surrounding Broadland areas.
I work in a home environment, caring for other people’s children, providing plenty of learning opportunities. I am able to look after very young children and become well-respected and important parts of families’ lives, managing business-like relationships with the parents as well as often becoming close friends of the family.
Childminding is the preferred form of registered childcare in England and Wales. No other form of childcare is rated so highly by parents.
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2006.
I have a Special Educational Needs Coordinator Level 3 Award and an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and the Early Years. I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines and provide activities for all the children. My last Ofsted inspection in 2017 resulted in an overall grade of “OUTSTANDING”.
